Mary Schiavone studied drawing and painting at The School of Visual Arts and The New School in New York City. She has created murals in New York City, Virginia and Ithaca, NY, illustrated for Accent Magazine and shown her work in the Brookline Artists Open Studios in Boston as well as small businesses in Ithaca. More than anything else though, she has simply been moving pen across paper, creating hundreds of small drawings and designs.
Her work is intimate and intricate, like little mazes strewn with secrets and treasures. Some pieces are meditations and musings, some are inspired by movies and music, and some are just the 'mindless' ramblings of the hand.
You can find Mary in Ithaca, NY and at firstname.lastname@example.org.
